Security of Information
We use reasonable measures to strive to safeguard and secure any personally identifiable information we collect during the preparation of tax returns, tax planning and any other services we may provide. Technology, such as, but not limited to, firewalls and passwords, are used to enhance security and reduce risk. Employees of our firm are advised to treat any personally identifiable information with care.
The tax software used by our office provides multi-factor authentication to authenticate user identities and provide secure login. Our computers have a unique code, which designates them as trusted devices when used in combination with our passwords for access.
Our office shreds any documents, including envelopes, that identify our client’s name or other sensitive information. All documents that we retain are held securely in our office.
